Gospel Reading (Matthew 13: 1 - 9) July 20

	1 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea.
	2 And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat there; and the whole crowd stood on the beach.
	3 And he told them many things in parables, saying: "A sower went out to sow.
	4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them.
	5 Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they had not much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil,
	6 but when the sun rose they were scorched; and since they had no root they withered away.
	7 Other seeds fell upon thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them.
	8 Other seeds fell on good soil and brought forth grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
	9 He who has ears, let him hear."     In the gospel today, it speaks of a sower who went out to sow. For me. the sower here is Jesus. Everyday, go is knocking it our doors offering his gift of love and salvation. We can learn more about these gifts if we accept the words of God. It is now up to us on how we will be able to know more the words of God and definitely that can be done best by reading the bible. In the gospel, we are represented by the places where the sower sow. This speaks of the different kind of people that accepts the word of good. There are people who did not took care if the words of God or did hear them but neglects it. We are all given the chance by God to show our love to Him base on how we value His words.If we love God, we should be good soil where in us the words of God would bare fruit.
