Here are the first five of the 10 ways for you to be happy. I don’t have much time so I will just post the other five tomorrow.
10. Sing every morning – I really love to sing since it brings joy to my heart and it makes me feel lighter and more comfortable when I sing. Singing for me is a medium to relieve stress and also to get my day started in a right way. I usually sing my favorite songs like “God gave me you” and “I will take you forever”. I know you also have your favorite songs, why not try singing it every morning, you will definitely feel better.
9. Be kind – Being kind and friendly to everyone is also a way for me to be happy. As what I have observed, when I am angry with someone or in something, I usually feel sad. So most of the time, need to be kind and try my best not to be angry at someone so that I would feel sad. Giving a smile to everyone really is a great help. They say that I have a beautiful smile, that’s to those people, I really appreciate it. (Smiling)
8. Have time with your friends – Your friends are the ones who are there to comfort you when you need some help. You need to value them by having constant communication with them. You’ll never know when you will need a friend so make sure you make them feel they are important to you at all times. When I am with my friends, I usually feel very happy.
7. Appreciate small things – If something good happens to you this day, thank God for it. You need to be thankful in all the things that is given to you no matter how small it is. Those people who are always sad and not contented are the ones who don’t know how to appreciate the simple things that life is giving them. You might see a nice flower while you are walking, try to stop for a while and appreciate it, you might be living your life too fast you could not notice how wonderful life is.
6. Take care of yourself – Sometimes, people tend to forget how to take care of themselves. Even though how busy and troubled you are, you have to remember that you need to take care of yourself. How will you take care of others if handling yourself is a difficulty on your part? You will certainly be happy once you see yourself well.
